Background and Education

As a lifelong resident of Wayne County, Colleen graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. After graduating from Wayne State University, she attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. While in law school, Colleen served as a Title Editor for Law Review, published a note on The Privacy Implications of Historical Cell Site Location Data, and earned three book awards for the highest grade. She graduated in 2015.

Employment and Experience

During law school, Colleen completed an externship at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in the Domestic Violence Unit. She participated in the Solo and Small Firm Law Practice and the State Appellate Defender Office (SADO) Appellate Advocacy programs. After passing the Michigan Bar Exam, she joined the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law Incubator Program, where she represented clients in the areas of family law and probate. She also assisted clients with estate planning and elder law. Colleen has experience representing both clients injured in automobile accidents and defending the insurance companies after an automobile accident occurred.

Colleen returned to her passion of assisting clients in the areas of probate, estate planning, and elder law, opening her own practice in 2025. She provides individualized estate planning preparation, as well as probate and trust administration.

In Her Spare Time

When she is not actively representing clients, Colleen enjoys concerts and spending time with her friends, family, and dogs, Morty and Jasper.
